We have had these two Aspen trees in our yard for 30 years.
In fact, when we landscaped our yard 4 years ago; the front yard
was designed around these two trees. Sadly this year they both
died from having a bore in them and had to be removed.
A neighbor called and offered to take them down; if he could have the wood.

So now our yard looks really bare (to us) with those trees gone.
We don't know what we will plant in their place. Can't do
another tree because of the roots still in the ground that
haven't rotted yet.

That looks SO weird!! I want to see it in "real life" to get more of a sence of what it feels like to have them gone.
That is so sad. I hate when trees have to be taken down. It takes way to long to replace them.
